Wake Up Now! The Truth is God
Don't be mistaken; God is at the centre of everything. He is the truth, and his Son testifies of this Him. God chooses, and his son leads to God.
31. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
I started this journey walking with God to find the truth. The truth of God, the reality of this world, and the purpose of my existence. Life is empty without a purpose, but churning time turning a wheel for someone else's cause is not where I want to be. There would be nothing to my existence if this were my purpose.
This simple fact is important enough for me to let it all go to find the answer to this question; however, the journey to the truth is incredible. Count yourself fortunate if you ever find the truth; although I will try to show you, conviction is not mine to give.
God is the truth and this post will prove this fact.
The Crucial Step
The testimony of Jesus and the everlasting gospel are crucial to understanding the truth. Revelation 19:10 and Revelation 14:6-7 show that worshipping God is the testimony of Jesus and the everlasting gospel.
For many years, the gospel and the testimony of Jesus have been misrepresented and hid a crucial step on the journey. Without this step, there is no chance of ever getting to God.
Anyone who wants to step into that doorway must choose whose instructions in their life they will obey: will they decide to follow the doctrines of this world or those of God? Consequently, this choice, whether there is the inevitable early stumble here or there, carries the conviction in their hearts to do the will of God, and that is choosing a side.
The Path
Since the testimony of Jesus and the gospel are to worship God, consider Jesus’s statement that no one can get to the Father unless it’s through him (John 14:6). This statement would indicate that Jesus plays a critical role in our worshipping of God. Consider the following passage:
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whom soever the Son will reveal him.
The Son is the key to getting to God because nobody knows the Father except the Son. How do you access the son to get to the Father?
37. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The Father is the one who chooses who he wants and then sends them to his Son (Wisdom of Solomon 8:21), who takes them and brings them to the Father. Through painstaking work, the Son takes these wretched souls, cleans them up, protects them in this world and delivers them to his Father (1 John 3:6+9).
The Truth
The Son has testified that we must worship God, and only he knows the Father and the way to the Father (John 5:19). He gave us a first-hand view both in words and deeds of what it means to worship God—the example (John 14:3-12). If we know Jesus, we know the Father (John 14:7) since Jesus does the Father’s will (John 6:38-46). Jesus has instructed us to do the will of Father and continue in his word (John 8:31-32) to know the truth—God.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

How then is God the truth when the Son is the truth?
The Son operates in the name of his Father and does the will of the Father; therefore, seeing the Son, you see the Father. The Son is one with the Father in purpose and, without a doubt, is the Father's image. Remember always that God is the focus and the Son is a representative, in the stead of God. Glorify God.

Conclusion
Jesus did not compromise or remove what came before but restored the original words and intentions of God, eliminating the handwriting of ordinances by men (Colossians 2:14) and sat on the seat of judgement (Revelation 1:18) as our high priest (Hebrews 4:14-16) and brother (Hebrews 2:11). Jesus didn’t mince his words, hide in the shadows or under cover of organisations. His example shows that he did not entrust himself or testify of men (John 2:23-25) but only of God.
I have shone a light on the Son, who has shone a light on the Father as the bright morning star (Revelation 22:16). Therefore, it's time to take the step to cross the threshold of the doorway.
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
The truth will set you free—God will set you free!
