God calls me every day, and I ask him never to let me forget. I implore him because I realise that it is impossible to walk this road under my strength, and the spirit of fear in the world will overcome me without Him. I ask him to humble me—and He has done it. He has made me more robust to walk and serve him.
I am reminded of what Jesus said to his disciples.
Watch & Pray
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.Matthew 26:41 (KJV)
There is a raging war taking place, hidden in plain sight. Without the Most High, I would not be able to navigate these rough waters. Over time, he has shown me one of the most potent weapons of the enemy—fear.
They creep in the shadows and poke needles in the sides of the awakened, offering a rescue of their persecution with the hand of hell. We must not take their hand, and any who does will have a paved destination of destruction in hades.
The Spirit of Fear Belies Reasoning
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
12. For fear is nothing else but a betraying of the succours which reason offereth.Wisdom of Solomon 17:12-13
13. And the expectation from within, being less, counteth the ignorance more than the cause which bringeth the torment.
Fear of embarrassment, lack of confidence, fear of ridicule, and fear of many things keep us from joining the war. Fear restrains our potential and effectively fights against the Most High by keeping us out of the war, and therefore we fight for the enemy of God. There are many excuses, but the simple fact is that we are afraid to stand and suffer like Jesus. God operates through love and a sound mind.
We must stand up and trust in God. Trust is essential when walking with the Most High with the understanding that he cannot be defeated. The best way to beat an army is by getting them not to fight.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
Search and walk without fear, knowing God walks with you—join the war.
