What is the testimony of Jesus?

I hear it often that I must have the testimony of Jesus. While I do agree, the difficulty I have with this statement is that there is never any clear and conclusive scriptural definition of what that is. Some of the incarnations include giving your testimony of how you came to Jesus or receiving the gift of prophecy. Unlike many people who are willing to accept statements regarding this critical subject without mangled scriptural proof, I am not one of them.

A few days ago, I prayed to the Most High and asked him when he will make it clear to me the things that he needs from me? When will he explain some of the mysteries which have eluded me and are vital for me to know? The answer came clearly in several references shortly after — not even a full day if my memory serves correctly. Now, while this is clear for me, I am not sure it will be clear for the readers since clarity comes from seeking God and doing his will in this wicked world we live in today — not an easy task.

  • Revelation 19:10 has been punctuationified (distorting the meaning with punctuation marks) and many distractions have been placed around this very verse which clearly states with a colon, that the testimony of Jesus is to worship God and only God unveils prophecy.
  • Revelation 14:6-7 while it is was not my original intention to explain what the gospel of Jesus it so happens it is also explained in this passage which explains further what the testimony of Jesus is:

The angel had the everlasting gospel to preach to the entire world saying, fear God, give glory to God and worship God who created this world.

While Jesus was in this world, he glorified God in everything he did and was his faithful witness unto death. Moses and Aaron were punished for not glorifying God at the water of Meribah — where they had the opportunity to sanctify and glorify God in the sight of the people. This world is his creation, and he will be glorified, and he will determine who lives, who dies and the destiny of his creations.

In Revelation 12:9-17 we see the dragon, who is Satan and the Devil, who has deceived the whole world has come down with great wrath. What is often missed from this passage is who the dragon fights against:

Woman: The servants of God. The new city!

He made war with the remnant of her seed — those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

I speak from experience, not to make anyone afraid, but rather to give them the courage to know that this world, every fibre of its being, will fight against them if they keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. This mere fact will separate those who truly believe in God, from those who are lukewarm, those who love and serve religion instead of the Most High and those who serve in this hive created and prepared by Satan for centuries which spans the entire world.

Those who wholly trust in God will relish in his strength and cannot be defeated even in death — this is what scares this world. The only way they believe they can win is to get the one true God to abandon or even fight against you because you do not keep his commandments and have the testimony of Jesus.
