Turn to God through living his Word
The only way to God is through following his instructions. Only through this can one begin to know and love God.
Imagine being taught mathematics by someone who has never taken a mathematics class in their entire life. Often, this is the case with those in religion who want to lead you on their path. If you pose in-depth questions about what they believe, using the scriptures as the foundation, they will not be able to answer. Despite this, they are convinced that their path is correct. Why? They will push, deceive, attack, and persecute anyone who veers in a direction other than theirs despite being unable to justify their path outside of what they learnt as children.
Incredibly, so many believe various doctrines without being able to substantiate their beliefs from their sources. To me, this is astonishing ignorance. In Christianity, the pastor is their totem, and by the wayside, they leave God, Jesus and the prophets he has sent. Whatever doctrine the pastor spews is what they take, despite that doctrine disagreeing with God’s Word. Even if their teacher perhaps speaks the truth, they will leave for another church that satisfies their inner desires.
The foundation is God, outlined through His written Word. However, we understand that churchgoers do not see it this way. Religion has taken a life of its own, and God is now in the back seat.
Reliance on God
I always rely on God's guidance and pray to Him to keep my words in line with His will. I act on what He has shown me, and His Spirit drives me to speak what He wants, no matter the outcry or backlash. He navigates my path, eluding all the hidden deceptions waiting in every crevice.
The world also attacks so that you would forget the laws of God in the theme of Antiochus Epiphanes (1 Maccabees 1:44-51). Filth is paraded in every nook of your existence, requiring endurance and perseverance to make it to the end.
It is easy to be deceived when your walk with God is untrue. Countless hidden deceptions, deceivers, and distractions are enacted everywhere for this sole reason. Finding and walking that narrow, elusive path is impossible if your search is without God's guidance. It is like lighting a candle in a pitch-black cave looking for the bat that just flew in—you are wasting your time. That small light is not enough to drown out the darkness.
Nevertheless, when I perceived that I could not otherwise obtain her, except God gave her me; and that was a point of wisdom also to know whose gift she was; I prayed unto the Lord, and besought him, and with my whole heart I said
The Holy Spirit is the blinding light—God’s glory, which fills the world. It is the only way to navigate this mire on Earth.
Trust equals Faith equals Action
Walking with God is a misunderstood concept today. It can be viewed as an attack on God's servants through cunning deception.
Do we acknowledge God without mouths or actions?
In the world today, acknowledgement is done with the mouth. This is seen as an open declaration that one serves God. In addition, a statement that God knows one’s heart often follows despite the scriptures declaring that the heart is wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). However, is this what God truly demands of his servants?
5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
We are to trust with our hearts and acknowledge God in all our ways; not simply by speaking words but by believing His words and putting them into practice.
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Committing to God means seeking and acting on his instructions. We cannot stay in our comfort zones and twist his instructions to suit our current lifestyles. That would be utter contempt for God.
15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
