What does this mean?
This is the question of the eternity. Without the answer to this question, there is no way to life–to God.
One of the keys to the answer is asking what Jesus did on earth. Yes, I know what Christianity says, but that answer is far from the truth–the whole truth.
There needs to be a blood sacrifice to cleanse the land as per the requirements of the law (Numbers 35:33). The same law that Christians deny. And also, to participate in the sacrifice of the man Jesus, you must be part of his family and one with him.
How to achieve this?
The testimony of Jesus then needs to be considered. Revelation 19:10 states the testimony of Jesus is to worship God. He gave us the example of when he was on earth, saying that we know the way and where it goes (John 14:4-7).
To know Jesus is to know the Father. To know Jesus is to do the Father’s will, which he demonstrated while on earth. Jesus’s life on earth was in itself a testimony of what it means to know God–doing the will of God and thus worshipping God.
What then did Jesus do when he was on earth?
His life is the example.
We must sacrifice everything for God and walk in his will–do what he has said. God must be the one leading you, and your life must belong to him.
The need to belong is one of the things that must be overcome (Matthew 26:41, Romans 7:14-25, John 4:22-24). This need to belong is also of the flesh and stops us from walking in the Spirit, and consequently, we are unable to worship God in Spirit and Truth.
The testimony of Jesus is to sacrifice your life, your ambitions, your desires, your need to belong, your diet, your everything, and walk in the way that the Spirit of Truth–God, decides. Search for him as you do silver and gold–your daily job and all the ways you seek to make money (Proverbs 2:4-5).
This truth may be hard to swallow, but it is what it is. You will have to sacrifice your life and live it as Jesus did his. You must be led by God and not by the enemy (Proverbs 5:8-13). How awful to invest your life working for those who hate God and thinking you are working for God (John 16:1-3).
